The program for ILM East March 21-23 in Boston is nearing completion with the addition of a great new keynote: Constant Contact CEO Gail Goodman. Goodman joins a roster of nearly 50 featured speakers, including opening keynoter David Weinberger, a founding father of social media as co-author of “The Cluetrain Manifesto”; Maz Sharafi, Facebook’s head of local monetization; and LivingSocial CEO Tim O’Shaughnessy.

Goodman is probably the most knowledgeable exec on what works in local marketing. Constant Contact is currently handling 400,000+ paid SMB accounts. While its roots are in e-mail newsletter marketing, it has branched out to provide other vital SMB services as well, such as online surveys, online event marketing, and just last week, the addition of social CRM via the $15 million acquisition of Bantam Live.

The addition of Goodman to the ILM program caps our exciting return to Boston, where we haven’t held a conference since the huge Local Online Commerce event in 2000 (including the John Hancock Tower Party).

We’re leveraging the Boston digs to invite the best of the best, including a number of homegrown New England companies that we cover in our research. In addition to Constant Contact, which is in Waltham, Massachusetts, we’ll hear from Boston Globe Publisher Christopher Mayer, Mark Watkins from Goby, Jim Boutin from Local Thunder (Portland,ME), Brian Costello of Red Plum/Valassis, WHERE CEO Walt Doyle, Skyhook Wireless CEO Ted Morgan and SCVNGR’s Christina Dorobek. The aforementioned Weinberger, of course, is with Harvard.

So — we’ll see you in Boston? Here’s the registration info.
