Global Yellow Pages Ltd. announced its expansion into New Zealand this week. As part of the move, the company will incorporate a new, wholly owned subsidiary in New Zealand, known as Global YP Ltd. It subscribes 100 ordinary shares for NZ$100 in the share capital of GYP NZ.

GYP NZ will offer the group’s existing services and solutions to the business community in New Zealand to expand its geographic footprint within the region.

YPG NZ is still the dominant player in the New Zealand market. At this time, it is unclear whether this is a print and online or just online play.
