BIA/Kelsey will offer a view into two of our key forecasts at the upcoming ILM Asia conference, Oct. 25-26 at The Regent Singapore.

The first will be the freshly updated global Yellow Pages forecast, which will be summarized in our opening presentation on Oct. 25.

The following day, we will unveil our global deals forecast. The latter will be a new effort from BIA/Kelsey, building off our U.S. deals forecast, first issued in March of this year.

ILM Asia will be an information-packed two-day event featuring regional and global thought leaders sharing their vision for how the region’s social, local and mobile ecosystem will evolve in the coming years. The event is a presentation of BIA/Kelsey and the Asian Directory Publishers Association.

One area of emphasis will be the transformation of traditional media players like Yellow Pages publishers into digital advertising and marketing companies. Two publisher executives, Michelle Sherwood of Sensis (Australia) and Siddharth Gupta of Getit Infoservices (India) will share how their organizations are transforming into businesses that can thrive in a local advertising marketplace that is increasingly digital and hyper competitive.
