In the run-up to any given BIA/Kelsey conference, I’m continually asked about the makeup of our typical audience. This is a good question from both attendees and speakers trying to devise the proper tone for their presentations or prepared panel fodder.
The answer is that it’s a rich bus dev environment with lots of high-level decision makers, as well as a fair amount of mid-level people who are more “in the weeds.” Think of it as the gathering of the best and brightest thinkers in the interactive local media community.
But don’t take my word for it; we’ve crunched some numbers from past conferences (thanks, Patrick) and have a nice breakdown. See below and let us know if you have any questions about DMS 2011 coming up in Denver in two short weeks.
We might even have some discount codes if that helps make or break your decision. The best contact is firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope to see you in Denver in a few weeks.
