Dex One has gone leaderless since May when longtime CEO Dave Swanson announced his retirement, which took place immediately. Rather than appoint an interim CEO, the company was run by a temporary leadership team comprising senior members of the board.

Well, today Dex One ended the suspense and named Alfred Mockett as the company’s new CEO.

In his 30-year business career, Mockett has served as CEO of Memorex Telex, American Management Systems and Motive Inc. He also held a number of senior positions at BT Group during a 10-year run at that company.
