DexOne has made online video a standard element of its Enhanced Pack online advertising bundle as a way to encourage wider adoption of online video, according a release issued today.
“Online video advertising has become an increasingly important tool for businesses to convey their services, location and personality,” said Sean Greene, senior vice president of interactive, DexOne. “This translates into increased call volumes, business traffic and more sales — making video a critical component of a local business’s marketing mix.”
Adding video to a bundle at no additional change suggests DexOne is emphasizing the importance of video as a tool for driving engagement and conversion more so than as an incremental revenue stream.
“We understand the value video brings to our advertisers — it’s a great way to better illustrate their goods or services and help them get selected by ready-to-buy consumers,” Greene said.
