There are now 150,000 mobile apps for the iPhone and quickly growing libraries from other smartphone platforms like Android. Every once in a while an app comes along to truly underscore the fact that nearly every imaginable niche has been filled.

The latest is PMSbuddy (via TechCrunch). From the makers of the online product, the $0.99 app tracks menstrual cycles and sends alerts when PMS stages are imminent. The funny part: The app isn’t targeted toward women. It’s meant for men to get reminders for whom to steer clear of, and when. Or better yet whom to be extra nice to, and when.

There’s even an actionable local search angle: Users can locate the closest flower shop, right when it’s needed most.

I live in a house of women. In my case, it would be my wife and two daughters. They all fall on different days.
