To follow up on Peter Krasilovsky’s post on former Industry Standard editor Jonathan Weber, The New York Times reports that the defunct bubble era mag will be resurrected. This comes weeks after fellow “new economy” magazine Business 2.0 announced that it will cease publication.

For the Standard, B20’s falling could represent an opening in the market but also carries a clear indication of lacking investor confidence in print business magazines, given falling ad revenues, an exodus of readers to the Web and a general commoditization of news. CNET’s Elinor Mills (former Standard staffer) also weighs in.
