If this works, could be the start of something. I'm waiting for an entire publishing company to be sold on eBay. It would just be a more transparent version of what already goes on in many of these feeding frenzy transactions we've seen lately.
Print publishers' use of online competitors to sell ads in their own publications may be self-defeating as it reinforces that online is where the action is.
I checked on the status of the listing on July 5th and bidding was up to US$1,625. There were 6 total bids. However, I checked on July 6th and the listing had been taken down due to "an error in the listing."
